Dr. Salem Alwatian is a Senior Registrar Psychiatrist and Managing Partner at Rossol Clinic in Salmiya. A graduate of the University of Malta with a Doctor of Medicine, he is a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and dual-certified in General Adult and Old Age Psychiatry, with specialist training completed in the United Kingdom.
His experience spans Kuwait and the UK — advanced training across community, inpatient and neuropsychiatry services, with leadership roles as Acting Consultant. He holds GMC specialist registration and is an Approved Clinician under UK mental health legislation, alongside a sustained commitment to academic research and evidence-based practice.
